Today award announcements were distributed to the additional Students and Faculty Mentors who have been selected to receive Undergraduate Research Grants for the Fall 2006 semester (see Recipient List).

April 4, 2006: Summer and Fall 2006 Undergraduate Research Grant Application process

Applications for undergraduate research support for summer and fall 2006 have begun to be processed. The deadline for summer 2006 applications has been extended to May 15, 2006 and for fall 2006 applications to August 21, 2006. Summer 2006 as well as Fall 2006 Grants will however begin to be awarded beginning April 4, 2006 so apply now to have a better chance of being funded.

December 1, 2005: VIA proposal funded

A proposal submitted to the Vision in Action (VIA) initiative was approved today. The grant will allow SERC to fund undergradute research for the next four years through a variety of programs. Follow the Grant Programs link for more details and application forms for these programs.
